A PERSONALIZED APPROACH AT A SELF-STUDY PRICE POINT

Our MCAT Self-Study Program adapts to your strengths, your schedule and your goals, combining data-driven planning with support from real MCAT experts.

Many students who choose to self-study for the MCAT struggle with the same challenges, a lack of accountability, not budgeting enough time for MCAT-style practice exams, an ineffective “grind” mentality, and spending too much time on what they already know and not enough on what they don’t. These are the problems we saw again and again in students who came to us after an unsuccessful attempt at the MCAT, and they are the problems the MCAT Self-Study Program was designed to solve.

The program is an adaptive MCAT study planner. Using data from a diagnostic test and learner assessment, it generates a tailored schedule that accounts for your comfort with the underlying science as well as your individual workload. If you work ahead, your plan moves with you. If you don’t complete the week’s work, the program adjusts your workload for the following week and lets you know if your test date is in jeopardy. It reduces cognitive load by showing you what to work on at any given time, and promotes self-awareness by carving out time for reflection. We like to think of it as “Strava meets Asana,” daily data and reflection paired with big-picture planning toward the big goal months away.

For more than five years, we have modified and tested this model with our private coaching students. We have taken the methodology we use in live coaching and built it into a dynamic, responsive system based on science of learning best practices, mindset training, integrated self-reflection, effective time management, and expert feedback from real students like yourself.

The program is truly self-study, but you are not on your own. Each student has a dedicated MCAT expert coach who monitors their progress and provides insights. Rather than teaching the science through content videos, we guide you to the best resources for learning it and bring them together in one plan designed around you.

Most students work within the program for 4–6 months, and you can start anytime.

  • “I’m a non-traditional student. I’m 29, I work full time, and I can’t just take six months off to study. I used to stay up late cramming like so many students, but now I learned that mornings are my best study time, and it’s something I’ve carried into the rest of my life. They used official materials, so what I studied was what’s actually on the test. When I fell behind, they adjusted my entire schedule instead of letting work pile up. This program has really given me hope.”
